Il Pellegrino
Museo Villa Turconi
Everything started with the painting Inconsapevole tormento.During the creation of the artworks in the Tral Ferro e l'Oro collection, I reflected a lot on the period we are facing. A path of uncertainty, suffering and bewilderment.
Images cold as iron emerged from my mind, and I became aware that reminiscences of the masterpiece The Divine Comedy were emerging in my paintings.
The dilemmas, problems, fears and condemnations that were present in Dante's work 700 years ago are repeated today.Hell was present. My journey had begun.
This path, comes from within me in the most personal way.The pilgrimage is part of us. We make long and troubled journeys, without a precise destination. We cross storms, gloomy places but also towards a light. Towards idyllic places. We walk our pace with each one, some quick, some slowed down, but we move anyway.Even if sometimes we don't notice it.
